Jason has over 25 years experience working in the energy sector (electricity and utilities) in various corporate and project related roles. His focus is supporting companies reimagine strategies and reposition their organisation for sustainable growth.
PROJECTS
Jason has worked with a number of companies in New Zealand and overseas with engagements such as facilitating the development of vision and purpose, leading strategic planning, undertaking industry analysis, advising on market entry strategies, and testing pricing strategies.

Jason's governance portfolio is expanding and he has been appointed to the boards of diverse companies where his strategic thinking, technology awareness, customer orientation & sales and marketing mindset adds value
ABOUT JASON
BE (Electrical and Electronic, Hons), MBA (Technology Management)
Jason is an independent director of electricity distribution companies Orion and Top Energy, electrical contractor Connetics, and mobility-as-a-service startup company Mevo. He also a Governor at Scots College Wellington and is a self employed consultant.
He was previously an independent director of Red Bus, a regional public transport provider.
In 2016 he was awarded the New Zealand Institute of Directors Emerging Director Award.
He has over 28 years’ experience in the electricity industry and spent 16 years in senior management roles within Meridian, New Zealand's largest electricity company. He has significant strategy, sales and marketing, commercial and subsidiary governance experience across multiple local and international projects.
